yes to the dress

Since you all asked so nicely.... I hunted down some pictures of the dress.  Or at least the next best thing.   It is by Monique Luhillier and the lovely Anne Hathaway wore a very similar number to the Oscars in 2009 during her dance with Hugh Jackman.  The beading on my dress is a different design, with silver beads and the dress is more of a cream color and given my height (or lack of height) I find the tea length really unflattering, so we will shorten it and obviously wear some giant heels :)
And who is crazy enough to buy said dress over the phone at 8 in the morning after only seeing a low resolution image of it held up in front of the camera on a hanger?  that would be ME.  :)  Remember when I told you my dress shopping plans with a best girlfriend in San Francisco who runs two amazing stores filled with designer goods at a much more friendly price?  Well I awoke to an email from her stating simply, "we found your dress", apparently I have great trust in my friends :)  and to top it off, I got an AMAZING deal, so tell me, how could I say no?
